About

Herb & Ranch is a casual, multi-dining concept by celebrated chef Brian Malarkey. While it looks like a traditional food hall, it operates like a fast-casual concept where diners order from the station of their choice and pay at a central register. Blending a contemporary farmhouse design with a light and breezy Southern California vibe, Herb & Ranch features mindfully rooted ingredients from a variety of sources, including their on-site organic gardens.

Service Overview

The Ask

Celebrity chef Brian Malarkey enlisted Innovum to conceptualize the website for his upcoming multi-dining experience at Herb & Ranch. We needed to develop a site that would rouse appeal and charm while honing in on the functionality of an online ordering system.

How We Did It

We capitalized on the impressive interior design of the food hall, engaging users with the use of beautiful photography. The site showcases all five food stations and allows the user to explore the full menu and order online.

Because of its fast-casual nature and location in a UC Irvine business park, it was paramount that the site be optimized for mobile devices. We installed integration for mobile and online ordering, making the process intuitive for the user.

Herb & Ranch | Web Design

Our top priority at Innovum is developing digital products that are as technically sound as they are beautiful. As with most of our web development, SEO, and ADA compliance projects, we utilized Google PageSpeed, Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Facebook Pixel to track performance, user analytics, and site analytics. An easy-to-use CMS will allow quick site updates in the future.
