Built on the love of a great sandwich, Herb & Eatery is the everyday favorite of San Diego locals. An eclectic café, wine shop, and chef’s market, locals can dine, enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, or choose an artisanal gift for someone special. This is where San Diego locals come early for a cup of coffee and stay late for a business lunch.

Service Overview

The Ask

Herb & Eatery called for a revamped landing page, a refreshed social media presence, and an enlivened marketing strategy all with technically sound development. Innovum took on this project to help the eatery gain more traction online, increase online ordering, and promote their events and event space.

How We Did It

The first step was to create a handsome website where the user could easily see the food, peruse the menu, order online, buy a gift card, see a calendar of events, and inquire about the event space.

Built on WordPress, the Herb & Eatery website is accessible from anywhere and is fully responsive on mobile devices. Because we built it with a clean code and an easy-to-use dashboard, the client can effortlessly oversee orders, update the menu, and manage the site.

To track performance and iterate the design, we installed a suite of tools including Google PageSpeed, Google Analytics, and Hotjar. The site was also compliant with ADA requirements by the time we were done with it.

Herb & Eatery

In order to attract and persuade clientele to upcoming events and promote the new site, Innovum collaborated with Herb & Eatery’s marketing and sales team. Together, we designed an engaging email marketing campaign to boost awareness of events and tout the café menu.
